Welcome to the Hungarian Club of Colorado
Dear Club Members:
I would like to orient people on two items which pertain to us.
1. The Hungarian Leadership, in the interest of national unity, started a program which goal is to register every Hungarian living abroad. Whoever registers, personally of course, will get information about Hungary on a regular basis which serves the common interests. Personal information will of course be secure and will be kept private according to law.
I would ask and advise everyone to register and tell your family members and friends. Registration is very easy and fast at the following web address: www.nemzetiregiszter.hu
2. Maybe this news has already been announced that on November 29, 2011 the Hungarian Consul from Los Angeles will be available in Denver. This opportunity is available because a new Hungarian law was passed to speed up the citizenship application and can be completed in Denver instead of traveling to Los Angeles. Also, other consul related issues can be addressed, such as birth records, notary services, etc. Any person that wants to take advantage of this opportunity and would like to make an appointment should contact Laura Lilley at 303 861-8013. The office hours are 8:00AM – 7:00PM at 1700 Broadway, Suite 2100. I would advise everyone to orient themselves at the following website: www.hungarianconsulateinlosangeles.org where on the left side there is a Consular Information section on what kind of qualifications, documents, fees, etc. are needed for these issues. Further information can be obtained by calling Consul Kalman Laszlo’s office at 310 914-7134.
With respect,
Megyesi Jeno

Membership
Dear Club Members:
Thank you for your support and help over the past years. We hopefully succeeded in offering enough of a variety in programs which satisfied the appetites of all. If not, please approach us; we welcome suggestions. Without the help of our members the Club could not exist.
Upcoming Events
New Year's Eve
Please visit our Calendar page where you can find our upcoming events.
Questionnaire
Dear current and future members. We would like to invite you to fill out our questionnaire which would greatly help us meet your needs better. Using your input we could more efficiently send out invitations to our programs and organize programs our members are interested in just to mention a few items. If you have already filled the questionnaire out but there have been changes in your data please fill it out again. Thank you.
Membership Dues:
Please submit your membership dues for 2011. The dues are: $25.00 for individuals and $40.00 for families. Those who pay
their membership dues receive discounted admission prices to club programs
and functions.
You can pay your membership dues through this web site on
the Membership
Page.
The membership dues barely cover the cost of photocopying the invitations,
the cost of stationery, the cost of postage and the costs associated
with programs which are free. Thus any donation you would make would have
a powerful impact.
Thank you,
The Board of Directors
